Here at WATWBroward we are guided by two important principles:

Secondly, everyone deserves a second chance – You have served your time and we want to help you adjust to life beyond bars by helping you develop the skills you need to secure employment or further your studies though a college placement.

ALISON has developed an unique course –The Advanced Diploma in Workforce Re-Entry Skills– to meet the specific needs of those who are preparing to re-enter society after a felony.
The course allows students to refresh skills they already have, as well as to build new ones. The advanced diploma divides skills into three important categories:
Academic Study Skills – modules for students who would like to progress to academic study at college level;
Workplace Re-Entry Skills – modules for students who would like to develop skills for the modern workplace;
Personal Development Skills – modules for students who would like to develop personal skills that can be used in a wide variety of personal and professional settings.
The course consists of approximately 30 hours of free online study. At the end of each study section, the learner has an assessment to complete and an overall assessment at the end of the course.
Provided the student passes each assessment with a minimum grade of 80%, he/she is deemed to have successfully passed the course and is entitled to a diploma parchment from ALISON.
